2018年6月28-30日,周鸿承博士应邀前往荷兰莱顿大学参加Shared Taste: Food and Exchange in Asia and Europe国际会议并发表研究报告。报告题目是Chinese Food knowledge through the Westerners in the Middle of the 17th century。本次会议还有来自英国、澳大利亚、印度、俄罗斯、法国、美国、德国、日本、比利时等 国专家就相关议题展开汇报与讨论。

有关莱顿大学食物史专家Anne Gerritsen(何安娜)教授在亚欧饮食文化领域研究的简介:
Anne Gerritsen is Professor in the Department of History at the University of Warwick and between 2013 and 2018 holds the Kikkoman Chair in the study of Asia-Europe Exchange, with special attention to art, material culture and human dynamics at Leiden University. She also served as Director of the Global History and Culture Centre at the University of Warwick. She holds an MA degree in Chinese languages and civilizations from Leiden University in the Netherlands, and a PhD degree from Harvard University in East Asian Languages and Civilizations. Her research since the completion of her PhD (in 2001) and the publication of her first book (in 2007) has centred on global history, the interaction between global and local history, material culture and specifically on the global local history of the trade in porcelain. Her recent interest is in the global exchange of foods and medicines, including soya sauce.
